My dearest Nina,

This award was not just for all that you do for us here in the group.
This award is meant to show you how much we respect you for all that you do.
You show us all how to hold our heads high under adversity,
You allow the world to knock at your door and to lean on you.

This award is for the times that you cry with us,
For the times that you lift our spirits and force us to smile.
It is for all of the time you give to us and thoughts you share,
When your own life is so busy you can barely sit still for a while.

My sister by choice, my friend and my confidante,
You have earned this award by always being the best person you can be.

Dearest Nina Stephanie,
Your emails are in my box, every morning.
They are filled with love, support,
gifts, tags, and stationary filled
with beautiful music.

You always seem to know when I am
having a rough day, and find the perfect
poem or song, to cheer me up.
You don't know, my dear, how much that
little bit of effort, and touch of love,
means to me. It makes my day.

These little things that you do, Nina,
for all of us, is what truly makes you
special, and unique. It makes you a
woman, with character, compassion, patience,
understanding, and lots of love.

I am so honored that you are Woman of the Year.
You deserve this award, each and every day,
for everything you do for WWAUS. And I want
